As a seasoned music industry professional, Bee Thomas has spent the last several years immersed in the dynamic world of publicity, shaping the narratives, and elevating the profiles of some of the industry's most prominent talents.

 

Her journey began at Purple PR where she interned under the flagship PR company who represented the likes of Adele, Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean & Beyonce. From there she moved to Warner Music UK, where she cut her teeth as a Publicist orchestrating digital and print campaigns for a diverse array of artists spanning genres and borders including the likes of artists under Warner Records, OVO Records, FFRR & Parlophone records. From crafting comprehensive strategies for album releases and tours to curating engaging press events and fan experiences, here she honed her skills in navigating the intricate landscape of media relations and artist branding.

 

Eager to broaden her horizons, in 2019 she transitioned over to Sony Music UK, assuming the role of Senior Publicist at Columbia Records UK. Here, she not only led the charge in spearheading press campaigns for internationally acclaimed artists like Rosalia, Martin Garrix, and Ozzy Osbourne but also played a pivotal role in expanding the scope of press into the burgeoning realms of digital and social media. From leveraging podcasts and influencer partnerships to fostering collaborations with fashion and film entities, she worked tirelessly to amplify the reach and resonance of each artist's narrative.

 

Her tenure at Sony laid the groundwork for her current role as Head of Press at Columbia Records, where she’s steering the ship and shaping the trajectory of press campaigns on a broader scale. Tasked with overseeing all publicity endeavours for both UK and international releases, she’s cultivated a team of innovative and driven individuals dedicated to crafting imaginative and effective press strategies. Whether aligning campaigns with the unique DNA of each artist or identifying new opportunities within the digital media landscape, committed to elevating the reputation and success of the Columbia Press team.
