Bio: Zimbabwean-born and Lewisham-raised, ESKA is a versatile artist, encompassing roles as a vocalist, composer, choral director, actor, and producer. Her diverse career spans across various genres, marked by notable collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists such as Grace Jones, Zero 7, Tony Allen, and fashion designer Rick Owens. Additionally, she has lent her choral directing talents to projects with Matthew Herbert, Bobby McFerrin and Tommy Hilfiger among others.

 

ESKA's foray into film scoring began with her debut score for "Sweet Sue," directed by Leo Leigh, which premiered earlier this year. Notable recent achievements also include her collaboration with Dan Carey & Kae Tempest for the BBC production 'This Town'. Currently, ESKA is diligently crafting her sophomore solo album, following the success of her Mercury-nominated self-titled debut. Moreover, she is embarking on her first opera composition, a binaural project commissioned by The Royal Opera House.
