James Peak runs Essential Radio. Over the last ten years he has made 40 features, documentaries, comedies and dramas for BBC Radio 4. He wrote, produced and presented the multi-part podcast The Banksy Story for Radio 4 and BBC Sounds; repatriated a lost Hancock's Half Hour and 90 lost episodes of Desert Island Discs into the BBC Archive; and produced the Pythons' Self-Abasement Tapes - a celebration of 50 years of Monty Python.
