Julia Rast
As a Senior Director Global Emerging Innovation, Julia leads the strategic rollout of emerging solutions - Gaming media and Digital Audio. In her role, she drives the development and incremental revenue growth, while providing competitive advantage for the business by turning solution opportunities into scalable approaches across GroupM’s agency brands.
Julia successfully developed ‘Sonic’, an end-to-end audio planning tool that maximises reach and cost-efficiencies across linear radio and digital audio for brands. ‘Sonic’ addresses the long- standing issue of misalignment between GRP-based radio planning and impressions-based digital planning. As an Inclusion board member at WPP NL, she devotes her energy to foster an inclusive workspace and educate on cultural awareness. In her advisory role she designs collaborative
initiatives, consults the business, builds practical tools and provides best practices to advance Diversity, Equity and Inclusion throughout the organization.
In recognition of her trailblazing efforts, Julia was awarded the Wires AdExchanger award for Ad Tech Rising Star and was named among the Management Today's Women 35 under 35.
