Laura Barrow has spearheaded the BBC’s digital audio news strategy – running the Digital Audio News team as editor. Her journalists curate the innovative Latest News playlist on BBC Sounds. In addition, they produce and commission short form audio news stories for the platform– including the 5 Minutes On and 5 Questions On podcasts – which have a track record of attracting hard to reach audiences.

Previous to this, Laura led the team that made the BBC’s interactive news bulletins on smart speakers.  During her career at BBC News, she’s worked across radio and television – editing programmes and developing new talent.
